Inconel 625 is a Ni-Cr-based solid solution strengthened superalloy primarily reinforced with molybdenum and niobium. It maintains excellent tensile and fatigue properties from low temperatures up to 980°C and has an operational limit up to 950°C. The alloy is characterized by good processability and weldability, exceptional corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and it also shows resistance to stress corrosion in salt spray atmospheres.
