A335 P91 not only has high oxidation resistance and high-temperature steam corrosion resistance, but also has good impact toughness, high and stable durability and thermal strength performance. At temperatures above 550 ℃, the recommended design allowable stress is about twice that of T9 and 2.25Cr-1Mo steel.
It can be used as steel pipes for high-temperature superheaters and reheaters with wall temperatures ≤ 625 ℃ in subcritical and supercritical boilers, as well as high-temperature headers and steam pipelines with wall temperatures ≤ 600 ℃. It can also be used as nuclear electric heat exchangers and furnace tubes in petroleum cracking units.
